Adventure Place offers services to parents of children pre-birth to six years of age that focus on health promotion by supporting parenting competency and skill building.  Adventure Place prevention programs and initiatives offered through the Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC) and Better Beginnings Now emphasize the importance of parent/child interaction.

Better Beginnings Now

The Better Beginnings Now program offers services to parents of children pre-birth to six years of age that focus on health promotion by supporting parenting competency and skill building. Better Beginnings Now provides home visitor support to parents and children, along with parenting and prenatal programs. Funding for these programs comes from Toronto Public Health, Public Health Agency of Canada, and United Way.

Ontario Early Years Centre - Willowdale

Adventure Place is the lead agency for the Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC) for the Willowdale Riding.   The OEYC promotes healthy child development for children up to the age of six and builds parenting skills through programs and workshops. OEYC services foster and model positive relationships between parent and child, enhance parent knowledge of healthy child development, support successful transitions to school, and help parents build links and connections to local communities.
