Treatment
High quality, individualized education and treatment programs for children age four to seven who are experiencing a range of difficulties and challenges.
Early Intervention
Early Childhood Specialists work with children, families and other care providers to help children reach their potential in their natural daily environments, including home, school and child care. Other services are accessed as needed, including, social work services, psychological assessments and, occupational therapy and speech and language consultation sessions.
Autism
The agency offers an array of services for children who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum and their families.
Toronto Partnership for Autism Services (TPAS) provides Child and Family Support Services, parent education, training and support services and Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI).
Toronto Autism ABA Services provides parent education and training and child/youth groups to build skills in the areas of communication, behaviour management/emotional regulation, social/interpersonal and, daily living.
Prevention
The agency offers services to parents of children pre-birth to six years of age that focus on health promotion by supporting parenting competency and skill building.
Training
Regular training and education opportunities are available to parents free of charge. Many of these workshops are evidence based and are delivered by certified trainers.
The agency also provides training to teachers and child care staff by request.
